We do our best to avoid returns by attempting to limit our portfolio to products that are known to be very reliable. When things do go wrong we know it can cause a great deal of frustration. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions before you make your purchase. Tmi avoids over-selling and will provide honest answers to your questions. We will advise strengths as well as known weaknesses of any product.
Refurbished equipment, and discontinued items, are normally covered by a 60 day return to base warranty.
New products carry a 12 month return to base manufacturers warranty.
Warranties cover fair wear and tear only. Damage caused by electrical surges, lightening damage, liquid damage, breakage and misuse will not be accepted.
To return goods under warranty
Before returning any goods please contact Tmi sales and request an authorised returns number. Tmi cannot accept returns without an authorised returns number.
When you contact us to request an authorised returns number, we will ask for the relevant invoice number and reason for return i.e. description of fault.
When sending goods to Tmi please address to:- Please check with us to determine the correct address to send the goods to. We may ask you to return to an agent.
Returns will only be accepted from the customer who originally purchased the equipment from Tmi.
Goods under warranty will be repaired, replaced or refunded in that order. Credit notes will only be issued if goods cannot be repaired or replaced. The value of the credit note will be as the original invoice value.
Advanced replacements are supplied at Tmi’s discretion. Before an advance replacement is dispatched the customer will be charged for the replacement goods and carriage to and from site. Tmi will process the returned item if it is received within five days of the customer receiving the advanced replacement.
If the returned items is found to be covered by warranty, Tmi will issue a refund or credit note to the invoice value of the replaced item.
No fault found
If no fault is found (or the item returned is not covered under warranty) the goods will be returned to the customer and a charge of £25.00 to cover the cost of handling will be payable. If goods have already been advance replaced then the goods will be returned to the customer and the invoice for the replacement goods, and cost of carriage to and from site, will become payable immediately.
Goods Ordered in Error
Goods ordered in error can be returned within 5 working days of the dispatch date. The following minimum handling charge apply:-
New products…£20.00 or 10% of the invoice value…whichever is the higher value.
Refurbished products…£50.00 or 20% of the invoice value…whichever is the higher value.
Please obtain a returns authorisation number before returning the goods.
All goods ordered in error must be returned complete with all original packaging and documentation in an ‘as new’ condition.
