Automatic Attendant (DISA) - The system includes the auto-attendant feature at no additional cost. Automatic greeting messages (3-levels) can be recorded by the operator or manager, directing the caller to an appropriate department or destination. For example: " Welcome to Tmi...to speak to the Sales Department please press 1, to speak to the Service Department press 2, to speak to the operator press 3 (level 1). Then additional options can be added after each option, for example: " To check on deliveries press 1, for credit card orders press 2 (level 2). Customers can be given three different levels. Callers can also dial the desired destination...not only to an individual extension but to a group of extensions. The basic package allows the user to record 3 minutes of messages.
Fax Detection - When auto-attendant (DISA) is activated, the system can detect an incoming fax transmission and route the call direct to your fax machine. This means that you no longer need a dedicated fax line as you can use all lines for fax or voice. Of course the system can be configured so that a 'dedicated' fax line is routed direct to your fax machine but you would still be able to use the line for outgoing calls.
Day / Night / Lunch Mode - Can be used to change the system behaviour according to the time of day. You can designate which extension will ring after hours. For example, after hours you may wish calls to be routed to staff security or perhaps an answering machine. This feature can also prevent outgoing calls being made after hours.
Flexible SMS Routing - SMS (short message service) is an affordable and increasingly popular way to send text messages between fixed line and mobile telephones. You can customise the system to allow SMS message senders to address their messages directly to a specific user's SMS compatible telephone, ensuring the desired user receives messages quickly and privately. This feature is only available when the Caller ID card (above) is fitted.
KXTES 824 Customisation and Maintenance is easy thanks to the Windows based Panasonic KX-TE Maintenance Console software. Simply connect a PC to the system via the built-in USB or serial (RS232C) interface, and the software's intuitive graphic interface will help you to do the rest. The system can also be programmed using a KX-T7730 or KX-T7735 executive telephone phones.

Extension expansion card (£196.50+vat Product code 27521) - Provides capacity for an additional eight extensions. The added extension ports are for standard telephone sets.
Line / Extension expansion card (£250.00+vat Product code 27522) Provides capacity for an additional 2 lines and 8 extensions. The extra extensions are for standard telephone sets, not Panasonic KX-T77XX system-phones.
Line / Extension expansion card (£270.00+vat Product code 27523) Provides capacity for an additional 3 lines and 8 extensions. The extra extensions can be either standard telephone sets or KX-T77XX Panasonic system-phones.
Caller ID Card - With the optional Caller ID Card (£88.40+vat ) the user can see the callers information (name - number) before the call is answered. This function works on standard CLI telephones as well as the Panasonic KX-T7730 or 7735 system-phones. The KX-T7730 / 7735 saves the 20 most recent calls (call log) while the system itself has 100 common logs. The logged incoming calls can get called back easily. Please note that one card provides CLI for three exchange lines. Up to three cards can be installed.
Door Intercom Card (£79.70+ vat) provides extension users an interface for up to four door-phones and four door contact closures for remote operation of electric locks. The visitor simply presses a button on the door phone and one or more extension phones will ring. The extension user answers, speaks to the visitor, and if they wish can unlock the door by keying a combination into the extension phone. We also supply the electric lock release (£20.00) and the release power supply (£18.00). The door-phone is priced at £25.00 + vat.
DISA Expansion Card (£152.10+vat) With the addition of this card the length of time that can be recorded for auto-attendant is increased from 3 to 6 minutes. The optional card also enables the system to play two messages simultaneously.
Important Note: The voice message card (below) is good value but be aware that you can connect virtually any answering machine to one or more extension ports. You can then divert your calls to the answering machine and / or have all calls go to the answering machine when in the night / lunch mode.
Built-in Voice Message Card-BV - (£267.90 ex vat) This optional card gives your customers the option to leave a message when you are not available. If you have one of the System-phones your message-waiting LED will light to tell you that you have a message. Each extension user can record a greeting, which will be played when they cannot answer the phone. Callers can simply leave a voice message directly into the extension mailbox, allowing the user to receive private information without relying on hand-written notes and memos. Call Centres and Workgroups can use the common message area for recording caller messages that can be played back later by an operator or group member.
