The Control Unit includes a distribution frame where all telephone cables are terminated. This means that you do not need to purchase, and install, a separate distribution box. 2. The system is configured from a BT Pathway system phone that uses a menu driven process. This means that you don't have to refer to a user-guide every time you want to make a simple change. 3. CLI (caller line identity) is supported without the need to purchase an extra card. 4. The BT Pathway is equipped with a door-phone port as standard. This means that if you purchase the optional door-intercom (£55.00), your visitors can press a button to ring an extension, or group of extensions. If an electric lock is fitted, the extension user can unlock the door simply by pressing the combination into the telephone. 5. The internal music-on-hold is better than most.
