BT Meridian Norstar Compact Plus - ISDN2 Telephone system The Bt Meridian Compact Plus differs from the original Compact Control Unit in that it has two slots for the installation of either 4 port analogue trunk cards or 8 channel BRI cards, which are switchable between ISDN2 lines and SO Bus extensions. The Compact can provide ISDN2 connections through to the desktop and also has an in-built Analogue Terminal Adaptor (ATA) within the CCU. The BT Meridian Norstar Modular Plus & I420 Telephone system The Modular I420 and Modular Plus are the most recent versions of the Norstar Modular systems. They are pre-configured for 0 lines and 32 handsets and can be expanded to a maximum of 188 ports by the addition of trunk and extensions equipment. The system supports I420 software supports ISDN30 and I420/ISDN2. It supports the installation of 8cct BRI cards directly into the Control Unit. or a Global Module. The Modular Plus software also supports DPNSS working. Additional analogue trunks and handsets are added in modules in the same way as the 824 and 32 Modular systems, with the exception of that these Control Units use Global Trunk Modules and Global Trunk Cards.
